holidays

Here is the holiday run down. 

Thanksgiving was great 12 people plenty of food and we didn't have to travel further than 30 miles . . . 

Christmas was terrific, drove up to Amesbury, Mass on the 24th and got there about 11:30pm and got to have the dinner that everyone else ate 3 hours earlier. (kate-lobster, darren lasagna). Christmas morning the little cousins go around and wake up the 14 of us in one house by shouting "Santa came!!" followed by present opening, and  lots of people hanging out.  Erik showed up around 7 and we had a wonderful roast beef dinner shortly after. there was a guitar hero for wii tournament, and lots of other wii playing and the entire family has now made miis, including adopted uncle bob. Much hanging out and family time,  catching up on the year and plans for seeing each other next. The drive was supposed to be 6 hours but both directions we had rain and traffic to we did not make it in under 7 hours. Travels were safe for everyone and now the fun continues as we head to California on January 6th.
